Located on the sea-front promenade, popular with joggers, dog-walkers and romantic strollers, the hotel has easy access to Cape Town's major tourist attractions, as well as its City Centre.

Winchester Mansions Hotel is glad to have families with children of any age. Special kids' menus are available and you can borrow or purchase a comfy children's gown. There's also a babysitting service for those evenings when you would like a romantic meal.

The hotel has its own restaurant and bar, Harvey's, which offers mouth-watering Cape cuisine. Special dietary needs can be catered for with prior notice.

Decor styles are either 'classic', epitomising the perceived colonial splendour of yesteryear, or 'modern', featuring contemporary finishes and colours.

Dining

Harvey's, the restaurant and bar at Winchester Mansions, serves meals in the main restaurant, on the terraces or in the courtyard. The restaurant has an extensive à la carte seasonal menu and is popular with both guests and locals. You can sit on the bar terrace and enjoy a drink as the sun sets over the ocean.

As with the rest of Winchester Mansions, Harvey's kitchen prides itself on quality and service, and the staff are even willing to improvise for special requests which do not appear on the menu.
