The Cellars-Hohenort Country House Hotel is located in the heart of the Constantia Valley. The hotel is a combination of the magnificently restored cellars of 18th century Klaasenbosch wine estate and the splendid Hohenort Manor House.

With its understated luxury, antiques and original works of art, the hotel is a celebration of traditional Cape Town values and gracious living.

The Cellars-Hohenort Hotel has 9 acres of landscaped gardens and a small vineyard. Recreational facilities include 2 swimming pools, a tennis court and a chipping and putting golf green designed by Gary Player.

Once you've been pampered at the fully-equipped D&D Spa, step outside onto the spacious green lawn where you can relax in a deck chair and take in the view of vineyards and mountains.

The Cellars-Hohenort Country House Hotel has 52 elegantly decorated en suite bedrooms.

The Madiba Villa - a gracious, 2-storey Cape-style home featuring a large sitting/dining room with fireplace, built in bar, service kitchen and 2 double en-suite bedrooms with walk-in cupboards.

Premier Suites - situated in the Hohenort Manor House, in the Edwardian style of the house, it has its own private balcony looking out onto the Herb and Citrus Terraces.

Suites - all suites are located in the Cellars Main House and offer enchanting views of the idyllic landscaped gardens, and each suite comprises a cosy private lounge with mini bar and bedroom decorated in a fusion of traditional and contemporary style.

Luxury Double - these spacious double bedrooms with adjoining lounge areas are havens of peace and comfort, and rooms are bright and beautifully decorated with a breathtaking vista of the gardens.

Standard Double - comfortable rooms, imbued with 'Cellars' charm and offering a picturesque medley of views.

Dove-cote - This built suite is located in its own private garden overlooking the Gary Player putting green. It's perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway or those looking for a longer stay. The suite features a bedroom with a king-size four-poster bed, an en suite bathroom with adjacent jaccuzi, and a large sitting room with fire place. There is a private dining area with a stocked bar.

The Conservatory is the main restaurant on the property and is located in the Cellars building. The stylish restaurant has been built around a 300-year old Oak tree, offering stunning garden views no matter where you sit - inside or out. Using local produce the Head Chef creates some hotel classics beside a few trendy new dishes.

The Greenhouse offers conceptual cuisine. The friendly service is always attentive and unassuming. The sommelier can recommend something from the extensive cellar to complement your meal.

The Cape Malay Restaurant offers local and authentic Cape Malay food. Spicy, rustic colours create a pleasant Eastern ambiance and hot towels wrung out in rose water will encourage you to relax and eat with your fingers. The wine list has been chosen specifically to complement the spicy foods on offer and include a good spread of local and imported wines.
