The Manor House is a restful haven whose history dates back to the beginnings of the 19th century. In 1847 Henry Fancourt White established a workers' base at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains for the construction of the Montagu Pass, which you can still travel along.

Fancourt Hotel and Country Club Estate offers the golfing visitor 3 world-class golf courses, the Outeniqua, the Montagu and the Links. All the courses are renowned for their excellent year-round condition and the attention to detail. The golf courses include 2 18-hole courses designed by South African golfing hero, Gary Player, an 18-hole Links course, a 4th 18-hole course, driving range and practice greens.

For the more serious golfer, why not visit the TaylorMade Performance Lab where you can enjoy the utlimate in custom fitting? A 2-hour session will assist you in choosing the perfect clubs for you.

The Fancourt Hotel offers a total of 150 luxury rooms - from the Resort Lodges to the Presidential Suite - each offering a scenic and serene retreat.

Now a National Monument, the Manor House with its 34 bedrooms is situated in wooded parkland and is the perfect base for your action packed stay.

Fancourt's gardens are perfect for relaxation. Choose between the Garden Studios or the 1, 2 or 3-bedroomed Garden Suites. All are just a few steps away from Fancourt's garden avenues, which are lined with trees and flowers. A number of the Garden Studios and Suites offer views of the golf course.
