General Information

The Cabanas Hotel is perfect if you are travelling with children, and the relaxed atmosphere is evident from the moment you arrive.

380 modern and brightly coloured rooms are available, ranging from Standard Rooms to the larger Family Rooms. Each suite has air-conditioning and a flat-screen tv, with selected satellite channels.

Kids and parents visiting South Africa and Sun City will love the Cabanas' proximity to the children's entertainment areas. Young ones can be entertained at Sun City's Kamp Kwena, the Animal Farm and Waterworld. Parents you can relax and enjoy all the facilities Sun City has to offer, confident in the knowledge that the little ones are being professionally looked after and entertained.

There is a shallow paddling pool next to the 'grown-up's' pool, and both are heated. The extensive gardens and lawn give plenty of space for children to let off steam and run around.

The Sun City Lake, better known as Sun City Waterworld, offers a full range of watersports, including pedalos, wake snakes and rubber ducks - fun for the whole the family.

Rooms

You can choose between standard cabanas; which are all air-conditioned with TV and radio and an en suite shower, or family cabanas; which are larger, accommodating 4 people with a full bathroom.

The palette of vibrant colours used throughout the rooms at the Cabanas accentuates the hotel's fresh and relaxing atmosphere.

The Sun City Cabanas has 3 venues:

The Palm Terrace serves a full breakfast buffet and themed dinner buffet. Ideal for families, there is a supervised kids play area during service time. Live entertainment on Tuesdays and Sundays.

The Pool Bar is situated on a terrace overlooking the swimming pool and serves light snacks.

Enjoy light snacks and sandwiches at the Treasure Island Snack Bar.
